Insurance Paperwork Help
Filing a claim is your call, not our default. If you do file, we supply the photos, moisture logs and measurements your adjuster needs.
Call (916) 209-0476Our Approach to Insurance Paperwork Help
Whether to file an insurance claim is your decision, not something we push by default — filing has its own trade-offs depending on your policy and situation, and we'd rather you make that call with clear information.
If you do decide to file, we document the damage thoroughly as we work: photos, moisture logs, and measurements in the format adjusters actually need, so the claims process moves faster and there's no dispute about what was found.
We can also speak directly with your adjuster to walk through the scope of work if that's helpful.
What We Document
As we work, we take dated photos and video of the damage before, during, and after mitigation, keep detailed moisture logs showing drying progress, and record measurements of the affected area. That's the documentation format most adjusters expect, and having it organized from day one tends to move a claim along faster than trying to reconstruct it after the fact.
What We Won't Do
We won't tell you whether to file a claim, and we won't inflate a scope of work to chase a bigger payout — that approach tends to create problems with your carrier and your premiums down the line. Our documentation reflects what actually happened and what was actually needed, nothing more.
Insurance Paperwork Help FAQ
Will you tell me whether I should file a claim?
We'll give you the facts about what we found; whether to file is your call based on your policy and deductible.
Can you talk to my adjuster directly?
Yes, we can speak with your adjuster to walk through the documented scope of work if that helps move the claim along.
Will filing a claim raise my insurance rates?
It can, depending on your carrier and claims history — that's part of why the decision to file is yours, not something we push by default.
What if my claim gets denied or underpaid?
We can provide additional documentation or clarification if your adjuster has questions, though negotiating the claim itself is between you and your insurer.
Do you charge extra for insurance documentation?
No — thorough documentation is part of how we do every job regardless of whether you end up filing a claim.
Can you speak with my adjuster before work even starts?
Yes, if you'd like us to walk through the anticipated scope with your adjuster ahead of time, we're glad to be on that call.
